From 1937, she worked in Stockmann’s design department, and from 1942 designed lighting for Orno, then a subsidiary of Stockmann, where she created many of the works that would come to define her career. In 1948, she began collaborating with Iittala, designing not only lighting but also glass vases.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJohansson-Pape also maintained a particularly close relationship with the textile artist and designer Dora Jung.
