TOKYO MODERNISM SHOW 2026

TOKYO MODERNISM SHOW is an annual event celebrating modern design, with a particular focus on the mid-century period from the 1940s to the 1960s. Bringing together iconic designs and lesser-known works by distinguished designers from America, Europe, the Nordic countries, Japan, and beyond, the event explores the stories and contexts behind these remarkable pieces.

Now in its fifth edition, the event expands beyond MUJI HOTEL GINZA to include Ginza Sony Park as a new venue, making this year's show the largest to date.

At MUJI HOTEL GINZA, galleries and vintage shops from across Japan will transform the guest rooms on the seventh and eighth floors into temporary shops, presenting a curated selection of exceptional design objects from around the world, all available for purchase.

Ginza Sony Park will host a market featuring exhibitions and sales by vintage galleries, contemporary design brands, and manufacturers, alongside design books and rare pieces from private collections.

Over four special days, visitors will have the opportunity to discover, experience, and purchase outstanding examples of modern design from around the world. We invite you to explore the selections brought together by the distinctive perspectives and discerning eyes of the participating galleries and dealers.
