ROLF SINNEMARK is a Swedish designer and glass artist.
He majored in industrial design at Konstfack (now the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design) in Stockholm. After working in the United States, he was employed at BODA (later Kosta Boda after the merger) from 1967 to 1986. He also worked as a designer for RORSTRAND, GENSE, NILSJOHAN, and notably, twelve different glass manufacturers.
This teapot was designed in 1985 while he was at RORSTRAND, where he started in 1981. It was unveiled and sold in limited quantities at a special exhibition at STUDIO HOUSE (a Rosenthal retail store).
